Mammoth Mountain, California, rebuilt from real data as a snowboard map for skate. (ReSkate).
What's in it
- The whole in-bounds mountain from USGS 1 m lidar: about 18 km² from Eagle and Canyon to Main Lodge, the Summit and the back side (Chairs 13 and 14), with the snow filled in the way it sits in winter.
- All 25 lifts: real line, towers and terminals, with chairs and gondola cabins. Fast travel to the top of every lift, plus shuttle stops at Main Lodge, Canyon Lodge, Eagle Lodge and the Village.
- Groomers and off-piste: corduroy groomers from the trail map, slower powder off them, flat cat tracks, real cliffs and rock where it shows in winter, frozen ponds.
- Unbound terrain parks: Main Park (22 ft superpipe, jump lines up to 85 ft, rail lines, a 30 ft quarterpipe), South Park (18 ft pipe), Jibs & More, Carousel, Forest Trail (11 ft pipe), Snake Run, The Hemlocks and the playgrounds.
- Landmarks: the Woolly statue at Main Lodge, the summit signpost (look for the Dave's Run arrow), the Chair 23 snowshed and Unbound signs at every park.
- Edges: the terrain carries on past the boundary and gets slower and slower until you stop.
