Magic Carpet Deck

Ride a flying carpet. A red-and-navy Persian-style rug with gold borders, curled-up ends and wool tassels replaces your whole board: no deck, no trucks, no wheels. It floats where the deck would be, so you ride it like a normal board.

How to use it

1. Install the mod, then open the ReSkate launcher's mod list and move Magic Carpet Deck to the top (see Load order below).
2. In game, open the board customization, go to the Trucks tab and equip Magic Carpet.
3. Equip any other truck to get your normal board back. Your deck graphic and wheels stay saved.

Load order (important)

The carpet hides the deck and wheels by changing the game's board loader script. Other mods can change that same script too (for example the Hoverboard), and when two mods change the same thing, the one higher in the mod list wins. If you can still see the deck or wheels under the carpet, move Magic Carpet Deck above those mods (top of the list is safest) and restart the game.

This mod's copy of the script already includes the Hoverboard's and Board Colors' rules, so those keep working when the Magic Carpet is on top.

How it works

• The carpet is a custom truck item, rigged to the deck so it moves with every trick.
• While it's equipped, the board loader script leaves out the deck and the wheels.

Compatibility

• Built for the Skate build ReSkate supports.
• Works alongside the Hoverboard and Board Colors mods when it's higher in the load order.
• Another mod that changes the board loader script and sits above this one will undo the floating effect.
