MetaMarket
Meta progression has arrived to RoR2! Earn experience from runs, level up, and spend tokens to start each run with items from your logbookMetaMarket
Adds a meta progression system to Risk of Rain 2.
Every time a run ends (Either by beating it or dying) you will gain XP equal to your run total score.
When you gain enough XP to level up (50000 for the first level) you will get a Token to spend in the loadout system (Press "M" by default to open the menu while in the character selection screen)
In the loadout menu you can use Tokens to select items that you will have when starting a new run, the price of the items increase with their rarity (1 for White, 2 for Green, etc...)
You can only select items that are in your logbook so you need to have picked them up in a previous run at least once.
You can select multiple copies of the same item but every new copy will have their cost increased.
Balance
This mod obviously makes the game easier (That is the idea of any meta system) I tried to balance it somewhat but in the long run it will give you a pretty big advantage specially if you use items from other mods.
**Controls
*"M" opens the loadout menu (Only works in the character selection screen) *Left click items to add them to your loadout.
*Right click items to remove them from your loadout.
*Middle click removes ALL items from your loadout.
Other Mod Support
*Because the mod uses the logbook to show items in the loadout menu it should be compatible with any mods that add items as long as they use the logbook.
Risk Of Options: * Adds a setting in-game to change the keybind that opens the loadout menu. Properly Persistent Profiles Patch Plugin: * Because this mod makes logbooks persistent through different profiles it will allow you to use any items obtained in any profile. Quality: * Because the different quality items all use the same rarity the cost of a legendary item is the same as the cost of a normal item, that obviously breaks the "Balance" of the mod and can be insanely strong, but this mod is so goated I would still use it anyway, you can increase the difficulty modifier in the Quality config if you want a harder experience.
