NaoyaZenin
Naoya Zenin as a playable survivor: build film by never standing still, freeze what your palm reaches, seal Time Cell Moon PalaceNaoya Zenin
The frailest body in the set and by a distance the fastest feet. He fights unarmed, builds film by never standing still, and spends it on a technique that cuts one second into twenty-four frames — anything his palm reaches has to keep up, and what can't is frozen where it stands.
Needs Satoru Gojo, which is both a character and the shared library. The mod manager installs it for you.
Skills
| Key | Skill | |
|---|---|---|
M1 |
Zenin Style | Three kicks while held, the last a heel that throws. He keeps his own movement through them. |
M2 |
Frame Lock | An open palm, almost no damage: what it touches is frozen, and a frozen body takes more from everything. |
M2 again |
Shatter | While the palm's glass (or R's) still stands, the same key breaks all of it at once, from any distance, for free. |
Shift |
Trace | Draw a line and run it, hitting everything on the way — wherever you're looking, up a slope or off a ledge. One charge, and every step goes where you're looking as you answer. Answer the letters as they flash; a wrong one seals him in his own glass, and a sealed body takes more from everything. |
Shift (alternative) |
Frame Corridor | A lane of glass laid down the aim, everything in it sealed, then he runs it and breaks each frame on the way. Aimed up, it leaves the ground. No steering. |
AA / DD |
Sidestep | Double-tap move left or move right (A or D by default): a 12 m step out of the way in a quarter of a second, still facing forward. One banked, back three seconds after the last. |
R |
Twenty-Four Frames | The heel brought down: one heavy blow all around him, and everything it reaches sealed in glass, longer on a full film. While it stands, M2 breaks the whole room at once. Rooted while it lands. |
M5 |
Bleedout | One stab the whole way down the line he's looking along, up as well as along. Everything on it bleeds; anything already bleeding hemorrhages. |
T |
Time Cell Moon Palace | Domain Expansion. |
| — | Projection Sorcery | The 24-frame rule, and the film. See below. |
The film
He carries up to twenty-four frames: one accrues for every stretch of ground covered and every landed blow, standing still spends them back, and being hit costs several at once — no more than once every half second. Each frame is attack speed and foot speed, and a full film holds a frozen body longer. That's the loop: run, fight, freeze, shatter. The strip of twenty-four cells stacked above your skill icons is the count, lit cell by cell as the film accrues.
The rule
Frame Lock and every other seal of his apply it: a body reached is stuck in one frame for a second or more, and while it's there everything Naoya does to it hits harder, and a blow that leaves it at 30% health shatters it (not bosses), as the game's own freeze does. Anything the game won't let you stun is still held in place, though it can still attack.
Time Cell Moon Palace
Ten seconds, and every enemy inside is slowed to a crawl and billed every moment against his pace: falling short of it hurts, and so does distance covered. Standing still costs nearly the most; the cheapest place to be is exactly his pace. Nothing freezes in the palace, but what his other seals hold pays near the most.
The curse
Die holding at least three quarters of the bar — after the run has spent
every revive it owed you — and two seconds later the vengeful cursed spirit
rises where he fell: a chrysalis with a skull for a face that flies with
Gojo's hands (the cursor steers, jump with a direction climbs, jump alone stops
dead; sprint only adds speed). The hull is the weapon — everything it
flies through takes a blow that grows with the speed — and its only button is
the palace on T, free in death, holding the fuse while it stands. It's an
encore, not a second life: half health, no healing, the rest burning down in
seconds with only kills and the standing palace holding it back. The bar is
consumed in the taking; falling off the map doesn't count.
Everything else
- Cursed energy — one pale blue bar, the same system across the set. Refills on its own, faster on melee hits and kills. A skill you can't afford won't fire and won't go on cooldown. Kicking is how the bar fills.
- Skins — one: the Zenin robe, hakama and boots he arrives in.
- Config — Mod Options, or
BepInEx/config/dev.marmennz.satorugojo.cfg. One config for the whole set; extra mouse buttons count from zero, so your Mouse 4 isMouse3there. - Multiplayer — everyone needs the same version of this and of Satoru Gojo; the lobby check refuses mismatches. The domain and the freeze run on the host, so they work from a joined game.
- Numbers — not on this page on purpose. Every in-game description is built from the constants the skill actually runs on.
F3opens the guide: pages of cards over the interface, each with an arrow to the skill, bar or slot it explains. The mouse wheel,←/→or Page Up / Page Down turn the pages. It opens by itself the first time you play this survivor;Guide opens by itselfin Mod Options turns that off.
