Eclipse AdvancedSkins
Experimental shared visual-rig and animation library for Eclipse Skins. Required by Duck and Cover; does not add skins by itself.Eclipse AdvancedSkins — experimental shared library
Shared runtime dependency for Eclipse Skins by Rodanius, starting with Acrid — Duck and Cover. This package does not add a selectable skin by itself. Install Eclipse Skins through your mod manager; it will install this dependency automatically.
The library supports original custom visual skeletons, authored mesh/motion data, skin application and restoration, and cosmetic motion timing. Native gameplay damage and hitboxes are not replaced. It also contains audio integration interfaces, but duck sound assets and native audio integration are unfinished.
Installation and compatibility
Keep one copy of Eclipse.AdvancedSkins.dll, supplied by this dependency under BepInEx/plugins/EclipseAdvancedSkins/. Eclipse Skins uses the library from this package and does not bundle a second copy. The library is resolved by BepInEx; it is not a separate skin or standalone BepInEx plugin entry.
Required dependencies are BepInExPack, RoR2BepInExPack and HookGenPatcher. HookGenPatcher provides the runtime RoR2 hook assembly. Do not copy game DLLs or authoring files into this package.
Playtest status
This is an experimental first public API release, not a stable compatibility guarantee. Offline compilation and numerical/lifecycle checks passed; actual Unity lifecycle, skin switching, multiplayer, native audio and performance still require gameplay testing. The skin package documents model-specific known issues. Please include both package versions and relevant BepInEx log lines when reporting problems.
