See what an item does before you pick it up, with your actual numbers.

Aim at an item or ping it, and ItemLens shows its full description plus what you'll have after picking it up: "With another stack, you will have: 30% attack speed", calculated for your character's current stacks and luck.

Features

• Aim to inspect: look at a dropped item, shop terminal or printer and its info appears. Works from range (40 m by default), not only when you're close enough to pick it up. Walls block it.
• Ping to inspect: ping an item and its info stays up for a few seconds, so you can check things across the map.
• Your final values: the full description, how many you already own, and the values after your next stack. Equipment shows its cooldown after your cooldown reduction.
• No spoilers: hidden "?" items are never revealed, and chests stay unopened mysteries.
• Client-side: only you need it. Works in multiplayer and with Multiping.
• Adjustable: position, size, range and ping duration in Risk of Options. Changes apply instantly.

Requires LookingGlass

ItemLens is a companion to LookingGlass and uses its stat calculations, so the numbers always match LookingGlass's tooltips. Mod managers install it automatically.

• Calculated values are available for vanilla items and for modded items whose mod adds LookingGlass support. Other modded items show their full description.
• Rebalance mods: if a mod changes how a vanilla item works, the description updates, but the calculated values follow LookingGlass's formula for the vanilla item.
• Hovering items in your inventory (TAB) or the Command / printer menus is LookingGlass's job. It already shows the same info there, so ItemLens hides while the scoreboard is open.

Positions are in 1920x1080 HUD units and scale with your resolution, so the same values fit 1440p, 4K and other 16:9 screens.

Tips

• Pinging an item also shows LookingGlass's own pickup banner (or Multiping's, if you use it) in the same spot. To see only ItemLens, turn off Item Stats On Ping in LookingGlass or ShowItemNotification in Multiping.
• What the interact prompt is pointing at always takes priority, so the panel matches what you'd pick up.
