Unlike Risk of Rain Returns or Risk of Rain 1, I prefer to play Risk of Rain 2 with COMMAND + SACRIFICE Artifacts. I also use SWARM to increase drops, but its entirely optional. As are all the relics! Use as many or as little as you like! Just know this was built in mind using those 3 :) (for optimal experience with scaling and teleporter loot table etc :3 )

One more final setting to match me and my homies peanut butter playstyle:

In the main menu under gameplay i like to set levels-per-skill-point at 3. If you want an easier game and/or your friends are using the modded characters but you're happy with Vanilla/RoR1 roster, i would set it to 2. :)
