Kizuna (KizunaMod)

The bonds (kizuna) between the Naruto survivors. Two players picking two different characters of the series get their pair's passive while both are alive, and can perform their pair's combined technique: a short cinematic finisher they trigger together.

This is the shared core: on its own it adds no survivor. Install it with the characters (they already depend on it). Want every character at once? Get the Naruto Collection.

How it works

• Passive: active while both of you are alive.
• Combined technique: both players press C (configurable; gamepad: D-pad down) within 1 second of each other, within 30 m, untransformed. Once per stage for each pair of players. If your partner doesn't answer, you wait 15 s to try again.
• In the character select, the KIZUNA button next to Ready (gamepad: Y) shows the chosen character's bonds: each partner, both halves of the passive and the combined technique.
• Counts per person: with two partners you combine once with each.
• Title screen: the Valley of the End, with the statues of Hashirama and Madara and the installed pairs clashing Rasengan and Chidori. Two switches on the title screen turn the valley and the clash on or off.

Team 7 (Naruto + Sasuke)

• Naruto: each of Sasuke's kills gives you Experience (more attack speed): more for elites and bosses.
• Sasuke: throwing Kusanagi's finisher makes Naruto's free clones near you perform their "U-zu-ma-ki!" finisher.
• Combined: both appear before the target and clash Rasengan and Chidori into a chakra dome that bursts, stunning.

Mount Myōboku Clones (Naruto + Sage Naruto)

• Naruto: your clones within 30 m of the Sage strike with Frog Kumite.
• Sage: each of Naruto's clones dispelled within 60 m gives you +1 point of natural energy and speeds up your hidden clones.
• Combined: 8 of Naruto's clones surround the target and charge with Rasengan; then both dive with the Sage's Ultra Giant Rasengan.

Promise (Naruto + Taka Sasuke)

• Naruto: your clones always crit enemies marked by Taka's Sharingan.
• Taka: every perfect dodge sends Naruto's free clones after the attacker with Rasengan.
• Combined: Naruto becomes the Fūma and Taka throws it in black flames; Naruto drops with a Rasengan.

Father and Son (Naruto + Minato)

• Minato: Naruto's clones are Hiraishin marks: flashing next to one makes it throw a Rasengan at the nearest enemy.
• Naruto: your Rasengan (or a clone's) on an enemy carrying Minato's seals bursts again in gold.
• Combined: Minato throws two kunai beside the target, both flash to them and drive their Rasengan in at once.

Senjutsu and Cursed Seal (Sasuke + Sage Naruto)

• Sage: while Sasuke is transformed, you gather twice the natural energy.
• Sasuke: each natural energy charge the Sage gains fills your seal; with a Sage meditating nearby, the seal drains slower.
• Combined: Fukasaku and Shima spit their oil, the Sage's wind drives it and Sasuke's Fire Style sets it alight: a wave of burning oil sweeps the area and erupts.

Uchiha Blood (Sasuke + Taka Sasuke)

• Sasuke: whatever burns with Taka's Amaterasu counts as burning for your heat; burning inside Kirin's area, extra heat.
• Taka: Sasuke's hits mark enemies with your Sharingan: your Amaterasu seeks them and your jutsu deal +20%.
• Combined: 8 crossing slashes around the target and a final cross, stunning.

Lightning Rods (Sasuke + Minato)

• Minato: Sasuke's Kusanagi finisher writes 3 of your seals on everything it hits.
• Sasuke: your lightning within 15 m of Minato's kunai arcs from it to the nearest enemy.
• Combined: 8 kunai in a ring; Sasuke drives in his Chidori and the fence discharges while Minato slashes kunai to kunai; Kirin ends it.

Wind and Black Flames (Sage Naruto + Taka Sasuke)

• Sage: within 30 m of Taka with Susanoo ready, a hit that would drop you below 30% is blocked: 2 s invincible in his ribcage (his Susanoo recharges).
• Taka: the Sage's Giant Rasengan or Rasen-Shuriken on a burning enemy spreads your Amaterasu to the 2 nearest, as strong as it has grown.
• Combined: Taka sets the Rasen-Shuriken ablaze with Amaterasu: a black sphere pulls and burns everything, then bursts.

The Master's Formula (Sage Naruto + Minato)

• Minato: each of the Sage's Kumite hits writes one of your seals.
• Sage: your first hit on each formula Minato placed gives you +3 points of natural energy and +1 charge.
• Combined: Minato catches the Rasen-Shuriken and flashes it across 4 kunai before dropping it on the target.

Shared Marks (Taka Sasuke + Minato)

• Minato: whatever Taka's Sharingan marks counts as a Hiraishin mark.
• Taka: Minato's seals count as your Sharingan mark: they draw your Amaterasu and your jutsu deal +20%.
• Combined: Amaterasu ignites Minato's kunai; a star of Senkō with Taka slashing behind and a pillar of black flames.

Sun and Moon (Naruto (Six Paths) + Sasuke (Rinnegan))

• Naruto: each blow of Sasuke's Susanoo that lands gives you tailed beast chakra.
• Sasuke: each volley of three of Naruto's Truth-Seeking Orbs gives you a Manifestation.
• Combined: Kurama's avatar and Indra's Susanoo rise and strike at once: Indra's Arrow and Ashura's two Rasen-Shuriken land together and burst.

The Same Ninja Way (Naruto (Six Paths) + Naruto)

• Six Paths Naruto: each of young Naruto's shadow clones dispelled nearby gives you tailed beast chakra.
• Naruto: when Six Paths Naruto throws his nine Rasen-Shuriken, your free clones near him charge in with their Rasengan.
• Combined: eight clones and Naruto leap for the nine tailed beasts' Rasen-Shuriken and dive with them one after another; the last one is Kurama's.

Six Paths Sage Art (Naruto (Six Paths) + Sage Naruto)

• Six Paths Naruto: the Sage's Frog Kumite hits count half toward your Truth-Seeking Orbs.
• Sage: each of Naruto's Truth-Seeking Orbs that lands gives you half a point of natural energy.
• Combined: behind each blow of the Sage's Kumite a giant hand of Kurama's chakra comes down on the same spot; for the last, both hands fall as one hammer.

Rivals (Naruto (Six Paths) + Sasuke)

• Naruto: Sasuke's Kusanagi finisher launches a volley of your Truth-Seeking Orbs.
• Sasuke: Naruto's Rasen-Shuriken fan your fire: each of their hits on a burning enemy gives you heat.
• Combined: Naruto's Rasen-Shuriken opens a vortex and Sasuke's fireball turns it into a whirl of flames that blows apart.

Light and Darkness (Naruto (Six Paths) + Taka Sasuke)

• Naruto: your Truth-Seeking Orbs always crit enemies marked by Taka's Sharingan.
• Taka: Naruto's Rasen-Shuriken fan your flames on the enemies burning with them.
• Combined: Naruto rises like a sun and his nine orbs, set ablaze by Amaterasu, drag everything into a black sun that bursts.

Kurama's Two Halves (Naruto (Six Paths) + Minato)

• Minato: each of Naruto's Truth-Seeking Orbs writes one of your seals.
• Naruto: each time Minato flashes to an enemy by Hiraishin, a volley of your orbs flies at it.
• Combined: a gold Rasen-Shuriken and a dark one, Kurama's two halves, circle each other while Minato cuts from kunai to kunai, until they merge.

Sasuke's Path (Sasuke (Rinnegan) + Sasuke)

• Rinnegan Sasuke: each of young Sasuke's Kirin gives you Manifestations.
• Sasuke: whatever burns with Rinnegan Sasuke's Amaterasu counts as burning for your heat.
• Combined: Chibaku Tensei lifts the enemies in a sphere of rock under the storm; bolts and Kirin's dragon break it.

Itachi's Eyes (Sasuke (Rinnegan) + Taka Sasuke)

• Rinnegan Sasuke: your Susanoo's blows always crit enemies marked by Taka's Sharingan.
• Taka: Rinnegan Sasuke's Amaterasu fans your flames.
• Combined: Amaterasu sets the Susanoo's blade ablaze: two cuts across the target and stakes of black flame.

The Unbroken Bond (Sasuke (Rinnegan) + Naruto)

• Sasuke: each Rasengan of Naruto's or his clones' that lands gives you a Manifestation.
• Naruto: when Sasuke casts Chibaku Tensei, your free clones charge the sphere with their Rasengan.
• Combined: Sasuke swaps his place and Naruto's with two clones: Rasengan from above and black Chidori from behind at once.

Sage and Rinnegan (Sasuke (Rinnegan) + Sage Naruto)

• Sasuke: each of the Sage's Sage Arts that lands gives you Manifestations.
• Sage: each enemy Sasuke's Chibaku Tensei catches gives you natural energy.
• Combined: the Sage throws the Rasen-Shuriken into the sky, Sasuke swaps places with it among the enemies and dives with the Susanoo's fist.

Space-Time (Sasuke (Rinnegan) + Minato)

• Minato: the stakes of Sasuke's Amenotejikara write 4 of your seals on what they impale.
• Sasuke: each time Minato flashes to an enemy by Hiraishin gives you a Manifestation.
• Combined: both flash four times around the target and leave; with their backs already turned, the eight blows land.
