JJBA Diego: Diego Brando

Diego Brando from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure as a Risk of Rain 2 survivor, with models, animations, voices and cutscenes from All-Star Battle R. Needs JJBA Core. For all the JoJo survivors at once, install JJBA Pack.

The stand meter

• Stand attacks spend the meter. It refills over time, and faster on kills.
• While the stand is out, it takes half the damage aimed at you, and that damage drains the meter.
• If the meter reaches zero, the stand breaks. Stand skills lock, and you are slowed and take 50% more damage until it recovers.

Skills

Key	Skill	What it does
Passive	Stand: The World	The stand meter.
Primary	The World	Locks on like Kira's. The World dashes to the enemy and punches while you move. With nothing in range, Diego strikes himself.
Secondary	Knife Throw	Throw 3 knives in a fan. Knives thrown while time is stopped hang in the air and all hit when time starts again.
Utility	The World: Charge	Dash behind The World, which hits everything in your path.
Special	MUDA MUDA MUDA	The World punches the locked-on enemy in a rapid barrage, then hits once more.
G	Time Skip (stand special)	Time stops for an instant and you appear behind the locked-on enemy, while The World hits it hard and stuns it.
X	THE WORLD (ultimate)	Stop time for 5 seconds. Enemies and their projectiles freeze and the world turns grey while you keep moving and attacking. Bosses stop for half as long.

You can change the stand special (G) and ultimate (X) keys in the JJBA Core config, under Controls → Stand Special Keybind and Controls → Ultimate Keybind.

Installing

Everyone in a multiplayer lobby needs the same mods, at the same versions.

1. Install r2modman and pick Risk of Rain 2.
2. Make a new profile, or import the profile code you were given (Profile → Import profile → From code).
3. Install JJBA Diego from the Online tab. r2modman installs JJBA Core and everything else it needs. To install from a zip instead, use Settings → Import local mod for JJBA Core first, then JJBA Diego.
4. Start the game with Start modded.

Linux and Steam Deck (Proton): if the game freezes while loading and you have the BepInEx GUI mod installed, open the profile's BepInEx/config/BepInEx.GUI.cfg (in r2modman's Config editor) and set Enable BepInEx GUI = false.
