Rounds Reconnect

Prototype BepInEx mod for ROUNDS private lobbies using Rounds With Friends and Rounds With Bots.

Scope

• Private Rounds With Friends invite-code rooms only.
• Non-host player leave/disconnect only.
• Rejoin is matched by Steam ID.
• Reclaimed players wait until that player's next card-pick turn.
• Host leave keeps current RWF behavior.

Prototype Notes

This first build tracks abandoned slots through Photon room/player properties and converts abandoned player objects into RoundsWithBots-controlled bots before card picks. It also blocks a rejoining player from readying a fresh lobby character while they have a claimable abandoned slot.

The first runtime test should focus on whether Photon preserves the abandoned player object after leave and whether ownership transfer succeeds at card-pick time.
