This is the latest official update for the JJK Cursed Techniques mod, bringing a massive overhaul to Mahoraga's Adaptation mechanics and several background stability improvements.
🛠️ What's New?
- Mahoraga Adaptation Fix: Completely overhauled the mathematics behind Mahoraga's damage mitigation. Previously, Mahoraga would cap at an 80% damage reduction due to a floating point calculation error, meaning players would still take damage even when the UI displayed "100% IMMUNE!".
- With this patch, the base damage multiplier has been corrected. When Mahoraga fully adapts to an opponent or D.O.T. effect, you will now achieve True 100% Immunity and take exactly 0.0 damage from that source.
- Stability Pass: General code cleanup to ensure better compatibility with external UI mods (like Noxy's Dynamic Radial Menu) and prevent memory leaks.
📥 Installation
- Make sure you have the required dependencies (BepInEx, UnboundLib, ModdingUtils).
- Install via Thunderstore Mod Manager, or manually extract the
.dllinto yourBepInEx/pluginsfolder.
Repair release 1.5.6
This release retains the original abilities and the 1.5.5 fixes. Internal card comparisons now use stable identities even after UnboundLib renames the prefabs. Use Radial Menu 1.0.6 and Math Engine 0.5.2 together with this version. Older versions of the same DLL must not remain installed alongside them.
Verified with an isolated ROUNDS installation; detailed coverage and limitations are recorded in the workspace TEST_REPORT.md. This is not a guarantee that every ability or multiplayer combination is bug-free.
