QOL refinements for Sailwind.
Inventory Refinements
- The ability to swap the item held with the one in the selected inventory slot.
- A quick map button which withdraws and stows the leftmost map in your inventory slots.
Instrument Reading Refinements
- On clocks, text that shows the time on clocks in global, local, or both global and local times. Only viewable when the clock face is visible.
- On compasses, text that shows the direction indicated on the compass in cardinal directions and/or degrees.
- On quadrants when inspecting, text that shows the angle indicated.
- On sun compasses, text that shows the latitude indicated. Only works between the local hours 1100 and 1300 and when in the sunlight.
- On chip logs, text that shows the speed indicated. Only viewable when the bobber has been thrown, chip log is not held, and the instrument dial is visible.
Compatible items from other mods
Climate
- On barometers, text that shows the pressure indicated. Only viewable when the instrument dial is visible.
- On thermometers, text that shows the temperature indicated. Only viewable when the instrument dial is visible.
- On hygrometers, text that shows the relative humidity indicated. Only viewable when the instrument dial is visible.
Kemy's Navigation Tools
- On inclinometers, text that shows the degrees of inclination indicated. Only viewable when the instrument dial is visible.
- On bearing compasses, text that shows the direction indicated on the compass in cardinal directions and/or degrees.
- On Binnacles, separate texts that shows the compass reading and the inclinometer reading.
Windicators
- On wind compasses, text that shows the direction of the wind indicated on the compass in cardinal directions and/or degrees. Optionally the point of sail as well.
- On standing anenometers, text that shows the wind speed indicated. Only viewable when the instrument dial is visible.
- On weathervanes, text that shows the point of sail in words and/or degrees.
Other Refinements
- You can break an empty crate, tobacco box, candle box, tea box, coffee box, or standard size barrel into firewood with a knife.
- When looking at a crate that has been opened, you can see how many items are in the crate or hold down assigned key (default E) to see all items and how many there are.
- When looking at an item in a crate, see that item's description.
- Remove hint text for the knife and fishing hook. This is disabled by default and must be turned on in the config.
- Distinct colors for Energy Elixir and Snake Oil.
- Smoke the pipe with one activate click/press instead of holding it down. Will continue to smoke until another activate click/press or the bowl is empty. Default disabled.
- Potency adjustment for blue tobacco.
- The ability to row continually instead of having to click each time you want to row.
- A configurable multiplier of how much to reduce the food and water consumption when rowing.
Configurable
Install Configuration Manager to easily change configs. With this installed, press F1 while in game to pull up configuration menu.
- All features can be enabled/disabled.
- Quick map key. Defaults to 'M'.
- Distance at which the compass and clock texts are viewable. Defaults to 3 for the compass and 7 for the clock.
- Number of cardinal directions to give compass reading in (4, 8, 16, or 32). Defaults to 16.
- Crate inventory item count Key. Defaulted to E.
- Enable/disable negative angle readings on inclinometer.
- Units of measurement used for thermometer and barometer readings.
- Number of decimal places to show in reading texts by instrument type.
- Color for reading texts.
- Potency multiplier for blue tobacco.
Requires
Installation
If updating, remove RadRefinements folders and/or RadRefinements.dll files from previous installations.
Extract the downloaded zip. Inside the extracted RadRefinements-<version> folder copy the RadRefinements folder and paste it into the Sailwind/BepInEx/Plugins folder.
