Coordinated Police

Police call nearby officers for backup and try to cut you off during a chase. Longer pursuits bring more pressure. Officer health, damage resistance, weapons, and speed stay at vanilla values.

Features

  • Nearby backup: Officers within 60 metres can be called into a pursuit, joining one at a time.
  • Interception: Some cops keep chasing while others move ahead or to either side of your path. They follow your movement direction, including when you strafe or run backwards.
  • Breaks between reinforcements: Up to four extra backup calls per player, per pursuit. After two calls, there's a 30-second pause.
  • Station response coordination: Extra calls pause when the station dispatches a response. Officers in vehicle pursuits also count toward the recruitment limit.
  • Lose sight, lose the advantage: Extra backup stops when no pursuer can see you. Hidden players are searched for using the game's normal behavior.
  • Stuck recovery: Cops trying to reach a distant destination retry their path after six seconds without progress. Recovery runs on the host and keeps them on foot; it does not teleport them.

Backup uses existing officers, so availability depends on who's nearby. The game's own police response still runs alongside the mod.

Installation

Install through r2modman or Thunderstore Mod Manager.

For manual installation:

  1. Install MelonLoader 0.7.3.
  2. Extract CoordinatedPolice.dll from the ZIP's Mods folder into your game's Mods folder.
  3. Launch the game.

IL2CPP only. Built against Schedule I 0.4.6f13.

Multiplayer

Supports single-player and co-op. Install the same version on everyone's machine. The host handles backup and interception, with a separate backup allowance for each wanted player.

Compatibility

Disable Police Response Overhaul and Hardcore Police before using this mod. Coordinated Police disables itself if either is detected.

Other mods that change police pursuit or dispatch may conflict. There are no configuration options in this version.
