Room And Chest Tracker
HUD showing undiscovered rooms and unopened chests remaining.Stonewards Room & Chest Tracker v0.2.0
This is a local build package for Stonewards.
What changed
- Host is authoritative for the chest count and broadcasts it to clients.
- Chest counting prefers Stonewards' replicated
NetworkisOpenedvalue. - Room count reads the cave generator's
generatedPatternscollection instead of the brokensyncDiggingPatternIndexmethod. - Smaller default HUD.
- HUD is anchored from the top-left so PositionX/PositionY behave predictably.
- Scale, position, size and opacity are applied live from the config.
- F7 toggles the HUD.
Beginner installation
- Put this folder somewhere convenient, such as your Desktop.
- Double-click
Build-Mod.bat. - If Stonewards is installed somewhere other than the normal Steam location, open PowerShell in this folder and run:
.\Build-Mod.bat -StonewardsDir "D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\StoneWards" - After a successful build, open the
buildfolder. - Copy
StonewardsRoomChestTracker.dllinto:StoneWards\BepInEx\plugins\ - Start Stonewards.
The build script uses the C# compiler included with the Windows .NET Framework when available; no Visual Studio project setup is required.
Important room-count note
The mod treats the cave generator's generatedPatterns count as the number of generated/found rooms. This is based on the game assembly supplied for this project and should be validated in the first v0.2 test. If Stonewards uses a different internal meaning for that collection, the room counter will need one further adjustment.
