A prop-hunt gamemode for STRAFTAT: seekers are blinded and frozen while props disguise as world objects, then the hunt begins. Every player in the lobby needs the mod.
Declared not vanilla-compatible so the game's matchmaking separates PropHunt
lobbies from vanilla ones. This prevents a player without the mod from joining a
public game mid-match (they'd see disguised props as plain player models and ruin
the take). No gameplay changes.
1.2.0
Initial public release. A prop-hunt gamemode for STRAFTAT.
Seekers are held blind and frozen through a hide phase while props disguise as
world objects; then the hunt begins. Seekers win by eliminating every prop
before the timer; props win if one survives to the buzzer.
Roles rotate round-robin across takes, and the seeker count is host-configurable
so it scales past a straight one-on-one.
Props get a health boost, disguise rotation, optional re-disguising, and forced
auto-taunts; seekers take a self-damage penalty for shots that miss. Disguises
are solid to movement but never block bullets. Almost everything is tunable in
the config.
The host arms the mode from the lobby gamemode dropdown (or a fallback hotkey).
All players in the lobby must run the same version — the mod handshakes each
player and refuses to start otherwise, naming who is missing.
Vanilla-compatible: dormant unless the mode is turned on, so a modded player
can still sit in a normal lobby.
