Console
A Source-style developer console for Straftat. Configures any mod you haveConsole
A developer console for Straftat
Built for aesthetic purposes, looks and behaves like the Source console
Open it with the ~ key
It configures your other mods
This is the part worth installing it for. The console reads the settings of every BepInEx mod you have, and turns each one into a command:
] cvar minimalviewmodelsreborn
minimalviewmodelsreborn_viewmodel_fov = 90 ( def. "90" ) [Viewmodels.Visibility]
Field of view of the held weapon.
minimalviewmodelsreborn_viewmodel_x_offset = 0.24 ( def. "0" ) [Viewmodels.Offset]
Negative values shift your weapon left, positive shift it right.
] minimalviewmodelsreborn_viewmodel_fov 75
minimalviewmodelsreborn_viewmodel_fov = 75
If the mod stores its settings the normal BepInEx way, they show up
Commands
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
cvar [prefix] |
list every setting, or one mod's, with current values and defaults |
find <text> |
search settings by name and description |
help |
built-in commands, then a per-mod tally of settings |
help <name> |
what a single command or setting does, with its type, default and accepted range |
clear, history, echo, scene |
the usual |
Tab completes commands
Arrow keys walk the suggestion list and the command history
Booleans accept 1/0, on/off and yes/no
Works alongside Mod Menu
If you have kestrel's Mod Menu, the two stay in step: both read and write the same BepInEx config, so a change in one is immediately true in the other.
Vanilla compatible
The console is marked vanilla compatible. It never patches game code and grants no advantage
Note that the console can edit settings belonging to mods that are not vanilla compatible - those mods carry their own marking
