ST Smart Shopping List

ST Smart Shopping List adds a single Smart + button to the Manager Blackboard / ordering UI in Supermarket Together. With one click, it scans all visible products and automatically tops up your order so you end up with roughly one to two boxes of each item in storage, using the same “Boxes in storage” logic as the in‑game OrderingDevice.

Features

• Smart+ button in Manager Blackboard
  A new Smart + button appears in the Manager Blackboard / ordering UI (product list screen).

• Storage-aware per-product logic
  For each visible product, the mod:

  • Counts items in storage containers
  • Counts items in boxes
  • Counts items carried by NPCs
  • Counts items carried by players
    Then uses the product’s maxItemsPerBox to estimate how many full boxes you effectively have, matching the OrderingDevice’s “Boxes in storage” calculation.

• Simple rules per product

  • ≈ 0 boxes → orders 2 boxes
  • between 0 and 1 box → orders 1 box
  • ≥ 1 box → orders 0 boxes (does nothing)

• Respects what’s already on the list
  Before adding anything, the mod checks how many boxes of each product are already on the shopping list and only tops up to the desired amount. It does not spam duplicates beyond the target and remains safe to click multiple times.

Installation

1. Install BepInEx 5 for Supermarket Together
   • Follow the standard BepInEx installation instructions for Supermarket Together.
2. Download this mod
   • Install it via your preferred Thunderstore mod manager or
   • Download the .zip from Thunderstore manually.
3. Verify the folder structure
   After installation, your game folder should contain something like:

   BepInEx/
     plugins/
       STSmartList.dll
   

   If you installed via Thunderstore/manager, this layout should already be correct.

Usage

1. Launch Supermarket Together with BepInEx enabled.
2. Open the Manager Blackboard / ordering UI in-game (the product list screen).
3. Look near the top area of the product list for the Smart + button.
4. Click Smart + once:
   • The mod scans all currently visible products on the page/category.
   • It calculates effective boxes in storage for each product.
   • It adds boxes to the shopping list according to the rules above.
5. You can click Smart + again if needed:
   • It will not spam extra boxes.
   • It always checks what’s already on the shopping list and only fills up to the target number of boxes.

Known Issues / Limitations

• Candy Bucket: Pumpkin (product ID 322)
  • Due to a current quirk/issue, the Candy Bucket: Pumpkin (product ID 322) is intentionally skipped by the Smart+ logic.
  • Smart+ will never auto-add this product to the shopping list.
  • Players can still order it manually using the normal Add button.
  • This is a temporary limitation and may be improved in a future version.

Note: Make sure an icon.png is present in the root of the mod folder when publishing to Thunderstore. A 128x128 PNG with a shopping cart, checkmark, or box icon is recommended.
