LA Dice Roller (Symbiote)

This is a fork of the BR Dice Roller Symbiote which allows you to roll the specified dice normally, with advantage or with disadvantage. The fork adds the ability to roll normal (without advantage or disadvantage) which the original Symbiote did not support.

Install

Use R2ModMan to download the Symbiote from Thunderstore Use the Symbiote Manager Plugin (at runtime) to enable the downloaded Symbiote*

* Note: If you prefer to not use the Symbiote Manager Plugin you can copy the Symbiote folder from the downloaded Symbiote content (found in the plugins install folder) to your Talespire Symbiote folder and then rename the Symbiote folder to a meaningful name.

Usage

After the Symbiote has been enabled (either manually or via Symbiote Manager Plugin) it will be available in the Symbiote side tray. When activated it will provide a UI with a name text box, roll text box, and buttons to execute the roll.

The name is the name that will be shown with the dice result to identify its purpose. The roll is the roll that is to be made. Typicaly in ##D##+# or ##D##-# format. The roll with advantage button loads the dice tray two copies of the specified roll and uses the higher roll result. The roll with disadvantage button loads the dice tray two copies of the specified roll and uses the lower roll result. The roll normal loads the dice tray wit the specified roll dice and uses the reult for the roll result.
