BetterFreeplay
A quality-of-life overhaul for Ultimate Chicken Horse's Freeplay mode. Designed to make creative building and practice sessions smoother, especially in multiplayer.
Key Features
- Moveable Spawn Point: Set a custom respawn point anywhere in the level. Perfect for practicing specific parkour sections!
- Press [P]: Set spawn to your current location.
- Press [O]: Reset spawn back to the start platform.
- Independent Building: Continue playing without interruption when other players enter build mode.
- Barbed Wire Fix: Barbed Wire keeps its standard hitbox in build mode.
- No Global Resets: Prevent the level from resetting all cycles when you die.
- Toggleable Invincibility: Choose whether you want the post-respawn invincibility frames via the config file.
Installation
- Ensure BepInEx is installed.
- Place
BetterFreeplay.dll into your Ultimate Chicken Horse/BepInEx/plugins folder.
- Run the game!
Configuration
After running the game once, a config file will be generated in BepInEx/config/BetterFreeplay.cfg. You can change:
- The Keybinds for setting/resetting spawn.
- Enable/Disable Respawn Invincibility.
