Polarite TMP

It just allows TextMeshPro formatting in Polarite chat. That simple. Now you can COLOR YOUR TEXT!

Supported Formatting

Polarite TMP supports basically all standard TMP rich text formatting tags.

1. Basic Text Styling & Casing

• <b> – Bolds the text.
• <i> – Italicizes the text.
• <u> – Underlines the text.
• <s> or <strikethrough> – Strikes a line through text.
• <sub> / <sup> – Subscript and superscript text.
• <uppercase> – Forces all text inside to be uppercase.
• <lowercase> – Forces all text inside to be lowercase.
• <smallcaps> – Makes all text uppercase, but original lowercase letters become smaller uppercase.

2. Color & Transparency

• <color=value> – Changes text color. Supported names: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, white, black. You can also use any Hex code: <color=#FFFFFF>.
• <alpha=#> – Sets transparency. Use hex values from 00 (completely invisible) to FF (completely visible).
• <gradient=name> – Applies custom gradient assets. (Currently set to None, but custom gradients may be added in future updates. You can also create your own pack and add this mod as a dependency).

3. Font & Sizing

• <size=#> – Changes font size. Formatted as #px for pixels, #pt for points, or #% for percentages.
• <font="FontName"> – Changes the font to any imported TMP Font Asset.
• <font-weight=#> – Adjusts how bold or thin the font is.

4. Spacing & Positioning

• <cspace=#em> – Changes the spacing between characters.
• <mspace=#> – Sets a fixed width for all characters (monospacing).
• <line-height=#> – Adjusts the vertical height of lines.
• <voffset=#px> – Offsets the baseline vertically.
• <pos=#%> – Forces the caret to a specific horizontal position.
• <indent=#%> – Indents the text block.

5. Alignment, Wrapping & Pages

• <align=value> – Aligns text (left, right, center, justified, flush).
• <nobr> – Prevents word wrapping within this tag.
• <page> – Inserts a page break (if chat UI overflow mode supports it).

6. Sprites, Styles & Links

• <sprite=#> or <sprite="Name" index=#> – Embeds an icon inline with the text.
• <style="styleName"> – Applies custom styles from default TMP Style Sheets.
• <link="id"> – Makes a segment of text clickable for chat events.

7. Highlight & Effects

• <mark=#> – Highlights text with a specific background hex color.
• <rotate=#> – Rotates each character around its center by a specified degree.

8. Miscellaneous

• <noparse> – Prevents TMP from reading tags inside this block. Useful for typing raw code/tags into chat without executing them!
