Note: to skip that quest everyone wants to skip, add 560247139 to your ServerGameSettings like so: |"UnlockedAchievements": [560247139],| (I believe this is a better solution than others I have seen, if it's not ideal for some reason I haven't thought of please let me know. also left .tbc in this release under profession commands because I got tired of taking it out and it's useful, admin only, don't use it unless you want buildings/recipes to be free and know what you're doing with it)
Ready for public use, please reach out to @zfolmt on the V Rising modding Discord for support. Expertise is functional, professions are getting there (all professions provide at least one bonus, woodcutting/mining/harvesting bonus yields (x1 of drop per level) blacksmithing/tailoring/jewelcrafting bonus durability to crafted items (up to x2 at max) alchemy bonus consumable buff effects/lifetime (up to x2 at max), fishing x1 bonus random fish based on location every 20 levels per catch), leveling is functional, and blood legacies are functional (like weapon expertise with different stats now). Still needs refinement and have many plans for improvements, feedback and bug reports encouraged!
Features
- Weapon Expertise: Enhances gameplay by introducing expertise in different weapon types and, in the case of unarmed, extra skills (unarmed also has stats as of second release). Experience for this is gained per kill based for equipped weapon.
- Player Professions: Adds various professions, allowing players to specialize and gain benefits from leveling the professions they like most. Proficiency is gained per resource broken, item crafted, or succesful catch.
- Experience Leveling: Implements a leveling system to replace traditional gearscore and provide a greater sense of progression. Experience for this is gained per kill. Can skip level 20 quest.
- Blood Legacies: This is more like weapon expertise now with a different set of stats as of most recent push (5/26). Experience for this is gained per feed kill for equipped blood type.
