AnriServerFixes

A set of small plugins that make EpicLoot, StarLevelSystem and Therzie's mods play well together on a co-op server. The goal is a slower, more deliberate loot game: gear you find is tied to how far your world has come, bosses get tougher the more you kill them, and the enchanting table explains itself instead of spoiling things.

Install the package on every client and on the server. Everything ships as one AnriServerFixes.dll plus the bundled EpicLoot. Every plugin checks for the mods it extends when the game starts and stays idle if they are missing, so the package is safe to install even if you only run part of the mod list.

Works on top of

These mods are optional. Each line says what this package adds when that mod is present.

  • EpicLoot (RandyKnapp) – progression-gated identification, flat identify costs, spoiler-free previews, effect descriptions on the Augment tab, clearer set-rune modes, a sturdier enchanting table, and loot odds that follow boss progression.
  • StarLevelSystem (MidnightsFX) – deterministic boss star levels that climb with each kill, capped by distance and boss progression, plus one-copy boss unique drops with a fairer drop chance.
  • Therzie Warfare, Armory, Monstrum – Monstrum trophies, bounties and minibosses are wired into EpicLoot's economy; boss uniques from Warfare drop reliably at low star counts.
  • AzuCraftyBoxes + MultiUserChest – the enchanting table can take sacrifice and identify materials straight from nearby chests, including chests another player currently has open.
  • ChestButler (EK_Solutions) – pulling into a Puller Chest no longer loses the stack when another player's game owns the chest.
  • Jötunn (required) – gameplay settings are synced from the server so everyone plays by the same rules, and players with a different version of this package are refused at login.

Identification

  • Loot that EpicLoot would downgrade because the right boss is still alive drops as an unidentified item of its real tier.
  • Identifying it is locked until that biome's boss dies. Pay a small per-item fee to open one early, or unlock the whole tier for your world at the table. Either way the result is gear of the item's own tier.
  • Identify costs are a flat 1 material of the biome at every rarity.
  • Picking a stack selects one item at a time and shows the count when you choose more.
  • Possible results you have never found show as Undiscovered with a question mark. Once you've held an item, it shows normally.

Enchanting table

  • Augment tab: hold Shift or Alt to read what each available effect does, or hover an effect on the left.
  • Rune tab: the set modes are labelled Legendary Set Etch and Legendary Set Extract, explain that only EpicLoot sets count, and stay hidden until you find your first set piece. A toast announces the unlock.
  • The table shrugs off poison clouds like a chest, and deconstructing it refunds exactly the upgrades you paid for.
  • Cost rows: an ingredient you are short of shows a dimmed icon instead of red text, and the chest tally next to the amount is hidden.
  • Sacrifice and Identify tabs: an Inventory Only toggle next to Select All hides items stored in nearby chests.

Loot odds and boss uniques

  • Magic equipment odds from creature kills follow world progression: Epic after Eikthyr, Legendary after the Elder, Mythic after Bonemass, Ancient after Yagluth. Repeat kills of those bosses, and of Monstrum's minibosses, raise the odds further. For normal creatures stars raise rarity; bosses get one extra gear roll per 2.6 stars (rounded up). Above 9 stars each star adds +10% Ancient chance per gear roll, and 20-star creatures always drop Ancient. In the Ashlands and Deep North, gear from kills and Ashlands chests is at least Mythic.
  • Boss unique drops roll an EpicLoot rarity, with results folding down to what your world has unlocked.

Boss stars

  • Meadows and Black Forest creatures can reach more stars from the 6 km ring outward (+1 per ring), and Swamp creatures from 7 km, still capped by boss progression.

  • Boss star levels are no longer random. They climb with each kill of that boss in the world, capped by distance from spawn and by boss progression, so the first fight is fair and the tenth is not.

  • Fader climbs faster (each kill counts as 5, up to 20 stars) and Moder a little faster (each kill counts as 3).

  • Kall Fimbulbringer, the finale, is always 30 stars with damage between vanilla Hard and Very Hard, and his health bar reads ★100 (cosmetic). Summons and tames deal half damage to him.

  • Boss unique equipment drops once per kill, with the base chance doubled so low-star bosses still drop their uniques.

  • Boss materials and trophies multiply with stars (stars / 2.6, rounded up), on top of one extra per nearby player. Creature trophies multiply the same way. Lucky Loot multiplies them further; Therzie boss equipment always stays at one copy.

  • After Fader is defeated, normal (non-boss, untamed) creatures drop a quarter of their usual items and trophies, with a minimum of 1 per drop that rolled.

Traders

  • The Bog Witch sells Serpent Scales for 300 coins each. Trader stock is a server setting.

Chests

  • ChestButler's sorter and Organize leave chests marked "not a crafting chest" (AzuCraftyBoxes) alone; Gather and the Puller can still take from them.

Spawn limits

  • Stone Golems and Obsidian Golems no longer stack up. While one is within 200 m, the next spawn waits 5 to 10 minutes; with two or more nearby it waits 10 minutes per golem. This applies to the golem spawners at abandoned cabins, the random spawn system and StarLevelSystem's duplicate spawns. The creature list, radius and timers are server settings.

Controller and text input

  • Typing is safe. While any text box has focus, such as ChestButler's storage filter or a sign, hotkeys from every mod are ignored, including mods that read the keyboard directly. Escape still works.
  • Repair first. On a controller at any crafting station the right-stick click only repairs. Take All and Store All never fire on the same press. Away from a station they work as usual.
  • Pad combos for keyboard-only keys. While a controller is active, RT + Y acts as "I" to open or close an Adventure Backpacks backpack, and the keyboard "I" is ignored. Add your own rules in anri.gamepadkeyremap.cfg.

Discovery

  • A recipe is learned as soon as you have found all its ingredients, even before you've seen the crafting station at the required level. It appears in the crafting list with the station requirement, so you always know what to build next.

Monstrum

  • All Monstrum trophies can be sacrificed for shards, miniboss trophies for runestones, and every Monstrum creature is a bounty target.

Server

  • Gameplay settings come from the server's config files. Clients keep only their UI preferences.
  • The server journal logs each boss spawn and death with stars, position and the players involved.
  • The server logs a stats line each minute: world objects, players, tick time, and per-player ping, bandwidth and connection quality.

Configuration

Each plugin writes an anri.*.cfg under BepInEx/config with a description on every entry. Entries marked server-synced take the server's value. Admin console commands: bosskills, lootodds, serverstats, dupeitems, patchowners.

Bundled EpicLoot 0.15.0 beta

This package carries EpicLoot.dll 0.15.0, a build of RandyKnapp's beta branch. EpicLoot is RandyKnapp's work under its own licence. Keep the normal RandyKnapp-EpicLoot installed; BepInEx loads whichever copy is newer, so once Thunderstore's EpicLoot reaches 0.15.0 this bundled copy is ignored automatically.

Thunderstore development is made possible with ads. Please consider making an exception to your adblock.
