Better Building Mode

Improves Valheim's building experience with an automatic free camera near crafting stations and customizable camera controls.

Features

Activates the free building camera when a build tool is equipped while already within range of a crafting station.
Walking into crafting-station range with a build tool already equipped keeps normal vanilla building behavior.
Free horizontal camera movement with W, A, S and D.
Rise with Space and descend with Left Ctrl.
Hold Left Shift for faster camera movement.
Supports simultaneous movement inputs, including diagonal and vertical movement.
Keeps the player character stationary while the free camera is active.
Allows building and placement from the free-camera position.
Camera movement is limited to a fixed 100 metre radius from the player.
Camera movement speed, vertical movement speed, speed multiplier and controls are configurable.

Install with a Thunderstore-compatible mod manager, or place BetterBuildingMode.dll in your BepInEx/plugins folder.
