CrewStats

Server statistics for a co-op Valheim server: who killed what, mined which ore, cooked, ate, drank potions, travelled and died. Same DLL on the server and on every client.

What you get

  • A window with a table: one column per player, rows are the statistics. The leader of every row is gold and has the longest bar. Press F7 (or type /crew) to open it. There is also a small bar-chart button next to your inventory (below the Quick Stack / Sort buttons).
  • Eight tabs:
    • Combat: kills, killing blows, bosses, hits dealt and taken, arrows, deaths.
    • Gathering: rocks mined, trees, logs, crops, berries, mushrooms, fish.
    • Ore & more: ore, stone and wood by type: copper, tin, iron, silver, black metal scrap, flametal, gold, stone, flint, coal, obsidian, black marble, grausten, ice, wood of every kind.
    • Craft & food: crafted, upgraded, cooked, food eaten, potions drunk, pieces built, animals tamed.
    • Travel: time online (measured by the server), walked, ran, sailed, portals, time in base, nights slept.
    • Creatures: kills per creature (top 16, in your language).
    • Deaths: by cause, plus the latest deaths with the killer and the biome.
    • Awards: a title for the leader in each discipline (Slayer, Boss hunter, Miner, Lumberjack, Explorer, Chef, Blacksmith, ...), the Legendary life (most kills without dying), the boss chronicle and each player's nemesis.
  • Three periods: Today, Last 7 days, All time.
  • Left/Right arrow keys change the tab and Up/Down the period; with the inventory open you can simply click them.

Counted on this server only

The game keeps counters for every character (kills, deaths, food eaten, ...). Every player's game sends them to the server, and the server adds up only what changed while that player was connected to this server. Whatever a character did somewhere else (another world, single player) is not counted. The server writes it to BepInEx/crewstats.log as an OFFLINE line, so the admin can see it. A quick reconnect (under 3 minutes) is the same session.

How things are counted

  • Kills, deaths, distances, crafts, ... come from the game's own raw counters of your character.
  • Ore, stone and wood are counted by the mod when you pick up a fresh item from the ground. Items you dropped yourself and pick up again are not counted twice, and stacking into an existing pile does not lose anything (the game's own pickup counter does).
  • Potions drunk and deaths (killer, place) are counted by the mod too, because the game has no counter for them.
  • Mined-rock "tiers" and the unreliable "Treasure found" counter were removed.
  • Your last seconds of play are sent when you log out.

What the server does

Nothing that touches the game: it only stores the numbers it receives (BepInEx/crewstats-data/stats.tsv, saved once a minute when something changed), measures time online and answers the window's requests. Every player sees the same table, so everybody knows what is shared.

Install

Install on the server and on every client (the Thunderstore package is the same). Players without it simply do not appear in the table. A 1.0 client keeps working with a 1.1 server for the numbers it sends, but only 1.1 shows the new window.

Config

  • Window: Toggle key (F7), Scale.
  • Client: ReportSeconds (how often your game sends its numbers, only when something changed; default 30).
  • Server: LogFile.

Changelog

  • 1.1.0 ore, stone and wood by type; Creatures and Awards tabs; latest deaths with killer and biome; boss chronicle; nemesis; Legendary life; time online measured by the server; stats are sent when you log out and a quick reconnect no longer counts as "played elsewhere"; reads the raw character counters directly.
  • 1.0.1 the inventory button sits directly under the Quick Stack / Sort / Restock buttons.
  • 1.0.0 first release.
