Alt-tabbed while something eats you? Odin flashes the taskbar and knocks when you're hurt, an enemy closes in, a raid starts, you die or chat says your name. Never while you're playing. Client-side. From the makers of Odin's Dusk Horn.
On-screen text now scales the way the game's own HUD does: by screen height and the
game's GUI scale setting. It used to grow with the screen's width too, so on ultrawide
screens it came out far too big, nearly twice the game's HUD at 5120x1440.
Sizes now match Odin's Long Drop: at 5120x1440 the text is about half its old size,
and on a 16:9 screen about a third smaller. TextScale1.4 gives the old 16:9 size.
TextScale (1, 0.5 to 2) sizes Odin's lines, live.
0.1.0
First release: while Valheim isn't the window in front, Odin nudges you when something
needs you back. A nudge flashes Valheim's taskbar button until you click back in
(FlashTaskbar, on; Windows) and plays a sound once (Sound, knock; Volume, 0.8).
Nudges, each with its own switch: a hit of at least MinDamage (1) (NudgeOnDamage,
on); an awake enemy within EnemyRadius (20 m) of you (NudgeOnEnemy, on); a raid
starting around you (NudgeOnRaid, on); your death (NudgeOnDeath, on); your name, or
one of ExtraNames, in someone else's chat line (NudgeOnName, on).
Each kind knocks at most once every Cooldown (20 s), and keeps knocking every
Cooldown while the trouble lasts: hits still landing, an awake enemy still within
range, a raid still on around you.
Click back in and Odin says in one line what you missed (WelcomeBack, on).
Never while you're playing. No keys, no items, no network messages.
