Taming keeps going while you are away. Feed an animal, leave, come back to a tamed friend.
Tame Anywhere does one thing only: it makes taming progress continue even when you are far from the animal. No extra monsters. No spawn changes. No new items. Everything else stays exactly like vanilla Valheim.
The problem
In vanilla Valheim, taming only runs while you stand near the animal. Walk away and the taming timer simply freezes. Taming a wolf or a lox means standing around for minutes, protecting the animal and doing nothing else.
What this mod does
- Feed a tameable animal as usual.
- Go do something else: mine, build, explore, fight a boss.
- Come back. The progress made while you were away has been counted, and the animal is tame (or closer to it).
Good to know

| Can it crash my game? | The mod guards against errors. If something goes wrong, it writes a single line to the BepInEx log and does nothing. |

Installation
With a mod manager (recommended): open r2modman or the Thunderstore Mod Manager, search for "Tame Anywhere" and click Install.
Manually:
- Install BepInExPack Valheim.
- Put
TameAnywhere.dllintoValheim/BepInEx/plugins. - Start the game.
Multiplayer
Everyone who plays should install the mod, and so should the server. The player who currently "owns" the animal does the calculation.
Uninstall
Remove the mod. Your world stays safe: the mod only saves one small extra value per animal that was being tamed, which vanilla simply ignores.
Compatibility
Tame Anywhere works alongside other mods. It only reacts to the vanilla taming tick. If another mod replaces the whole taming system, results may vary.

Tame Anywhere sorgt dafür, dass das Zähmen weiterläuft, auch wenn du weit weg bist. Tier füttern, losziehen, zurückkommen: Das Tier ist gezähmt oder fast fertig. Das Tier braucht weiterhin Futter (nur die Zeit, in der es satt war, zählt). Es werden keine Gebiete geladen und nichts sonst verändert, alles andere bleibt Vanilla.
