BeRightBack

A "Be right back" screen for streamers. Choose Be right back in the pause menu, pick a preset and press Start. The game stays paused and the menu and HUD go away. The camera turns to your character, who dances and gestures under your text until you press Esc. (Русское описание — ниже.)

The screen

• Your text in big letters, with a timer showing how long you have been away (optional).
• Your character plays the preset's emotes in random order or in the order you set. Dances and poses last 8-15 s each, gestures a few seconds.
• The camera slowly swings around your character, who turns to follow it. Sitting and lying poses keep their place.
• The cape keeps moving, and so do Hugin and Munin; everything else stands still.
• The character turns away from walls so the camera has room. When there is no room on any side, the building pieces in the way are hidden until you come back.
• Turn on lighting: in a dungeon, at night or under a roof, a light shows your character.
• The toast emote gets a tankard in the hand.
• Esc (or B / Start on a gamepad) brings the pause menu back.

Presets

• Three built-in presets: Be right back, Bathroom break and Coffee break. They are always there, in your game's language, and cannot be changed or deleted.
• Copy any preset to make your own (the mark on its row), or press New. Your own presets can be changed and deleted with the × on their row.
• A preset sets:
  • the text on the screen;
  • the away timer;
  • the lighting;
  • any number of emotes and their order (drag one onto another to swap them, or tick Random order);
  • where the text stands (nine places);
  • how big the text is.
• The preview shows the real scene from the screen's camera, with your text over it.

Good to know

• Client-only. Nothing is needed on a server, and no other player needs it.
• In single player, or when you host without guests, the game is really paused. On a server the world keeps running: no client can pause it, and the screen tells you so.
• Texts in 22 languages.
• Your presets are kept in BepInEx\config\cdev.berightback.presets.json. Camera distance, camera swing and the dance length are in BepInEx\config\cdev.berightback.cfg.

Install

Install with a mod manager, or put plugins\CDEV.BeRightBack\CDEV.BeRightBack.dll into BepInEx\plugins. Needs BepInEx 5.4 (BepInExPack Valheim). No Jotunn. To uninstall, delete the CDEV.BeRightBack folder.

Экран «Скоро вернусь» для стримеров. Выберите Скоро вернусь в меню паузы, выберите пресет и нажмите Начать. Игра стоит на паузе, меню и интерфейс исчезают. Камера поворачивается к персонажу, и он танцует и жестикулирует под вашим текстом, пока вы не нажмёте Esc.

• Текст крупно на экране и, если нужно, таймер, сколько вас нет.
• Эмоции пресета по очереди или вразнобой. Танцы и позы длятся по 8-15 сек., жесты по несколько секунд.
• Камера медленно качается, персонаж поворачивается за ней. Сидячие и лежачие позы остаются на месте.
• Плащ развевается, Хугин и Мунин двигаются, всё остальное стоит.
• Персонаж отворачивается от стен, чтобы камере хватило места. Если места нет нигде, мешающие постройки на это время скрываются.
• Включить освещение: в данже, ночью или под крышей персонажа подсвечивает свет.
• Во время тоста в руке кружка.
• Три встроенных пресета: Скоро вернусь, Отошёл в туалет, Перерыв на кофе. Их нельзя изменить или удалить, но можно скопировать. Свои пресеты меняются и удаляются.
• В пресете: текст, таймер, освещение, любые эмоции и их порядок (перетащите одну на другую), положение текста (9 мест) и размер. Предпросмотр показывает настоящую сцену.
• Только для клиента, на сервер не нужен. На сервере мир не останавливается — так устроена игра.
