Description

This is a curated collection of mods for Valheim, assembled for use on a private server by a close group of friends. These mods enhance our Viking adventures with new features, quality-of-life improvements, and some customized tweaks.

Use at your own risk! Modifying Valheim can lead to unexpected issues, including instability, bugs, and changes to game balance. We've tested these mods together, but compatibility problems can always arise.

Intended Use

This mod pack is primarily designed for our specific private server setup. While you're welcome to use it, be aware that it may not be perfectly balanced or configured for other servers or solo play.

Installation Instructions

1. Install a Mod Manager: We recommend using r2modman. Download and install it.
2. Create a Profile: In r2modman, create a new profile for your modded Valheim experience.
3. Install Mods:
   • Option 1 (Manual): Download the mods listed above (and their dependencies) from Thunderstore. Place the mod files into the [Valheim installation folder]/BepInEx/plugins directory. (r2modman usually handles this for you)
   • Option 2 (r2modman): If the mods are on Thunderstore, use r2modman to search and install them into your profile.
4. Copy this Modpack (If Applicable): *If you are distributing a pre-packaged set of files from the server host:* If you've received a pre-packaged set of files from the server host, extract them into a separate folder, and then use r2modman's "Import profile" feature if available, or manually copy the contents into your r2modman profile folder.
5. Launch Modded Valheim: Use r2modman to launch Valheim with your modded profile.

Disclaimer

• Backup Your Saves: Before installing any mods, *back up your Valheim world and character files!* Mods can corrupt your saves. They are usually located in C:\Users\[YourUsername]\AppData\LocalLow\IronGate\Valheim\.
• Compatibility: Mod compatibility can be tricky. Mods may conflict with each other or with new Valheim updates. We've tested this collection to the best of our ability, but we cannot guarantee it will work flawlessly for everyone.
• Game Balance: Mods can significantly alter the intended game balance. This collection may make the game easier or harder, depending on the mods included.
• No Support: This mod pack is provided as-is. We may offer limited help within our group, but we cannot provide general support to the public.
