VikingQualityOfLife
A configurable Valheim overhaul that expands inventory and food, improves portals, sailing, building and processing, and tunes carry weight, stacks, comfort, arrows and skill gain.Viking Quality of Life
Viking Quality of Life (ccorp) is a configurable quality-of-life plugin for Valheim. It can adjust item weight and stack size, inventory rows, carry capacity, food duration and slots, skill experience, sailing speed, map-based portal travel, comfort range, arrow speed, building-station range, processing capacity, and Shift-based machine filling. It also expands the wooden chest.
Installation
Thunderstore Mod Manager or r2modman
- Select the Valheim community and the profile you want to use.
- Search for ccorp and choose Download or Install with dependencies.
- Start Valheim with mods from the manager.
BepInExPack_Valheim is declared as a dependency and is installed automatically by the manager. Do not install another copy of BepInEx inside the ccorp package.
Configuration
After the first launch, BepInEx creates:
BepInEx/config/com.modvalheim.ccorp.cfg
Close the game before editing the file. Available settings include:
General.WeightMultiplier: item-weight multiplier (default0.5).Food.DurationMultiplier: food-duration multiplier (default1.5).Inventory.ExtraRows: extra player inventory rows, from 0 to 5 (default2).Player.MaxCarryWeight: base carry capacity (default750).Skills.ExperienceMultiplier: skill experience multiplier (default3).Sailing.SpeedMultiplier: rowing and sailing propulsion multiplier (default2).Items.StackSizeMultiplier: stack-size multiplier (default10).Portals.MapPins: displays fixed portal markers and opens the map for destination selection when the player physically enters a portal (defaulttrue). Portal markers cannot teleport the player at other times.Comfort.RadiusMultiplier: heat and comfort range multiplier (default10).Combat.ArrowSpeedMultiplier: bow-arrow speed multiplier (default2).Building.StationRadiusMultiplier: building-station range multiplier (default3).Processing.InputCapacityMultiplier: processing-machine capacity multiplier (default2).Processing.ShiftFill: hold Shift while adding input to fill a machine (defaulttrue).Server.EnforceClientModList: requires clients to use exactly the configured BepInEx plugin list (defaulttrue).Server.AllowedClientMods: semicolon-separated allowed plugin GUIDs (defaultcom.modvalheim.ccorp).Server.VerifyModHashes: requires matching plugin versions and DLL SHA-256 hashes (defaulttrue).Server.ModHandshakeTimeoutSeconds: seconds before a client that did not report its mods is kicked (default10).
Client and server compatibility
Install the same ccorp version on every client. Install it on dedicated servers as well when using portal map pins, so the server can provide the complete portal list to every online player. Other gameplay changes are applied by the plugin on the game instance where it is installed; matching client/server installations are recommended for a consistent experience.
By default, the server accepts only clients whose loaded BepInEx plugin list contains ccorp and nothing else, with the same version and DLL hash as the server. Add intentionally permitted client plugins to Server.AllowedClientMods, separated by semicolons. This validation is implemented directly by ccorp and does not require Jötunn or ServerSync.
Reporting problems
Report problems through the contact/support channel at valheim.catini.org. Include the ccorp version, Valheim version, mod-manager profile, a list of other installed mods, and the relevant BepInEx log excerpt. Never publish passwords, tokens, or other secrets.
