Paths worn by walking: grass thins and the ground turns to a trail where you walk often; faster running and less stamina on trails, gravel and stone roads, cart ruts, mud in rain, trampled crops.
Gravel roads look like gravel: small pebbles drawn over them near you (one light mesh per 32 m area, no shadows), lighter paving under them. Visual.GravelPebbles turns them off.
0.2.8
No trails or roads on the map: the map layer, its network messages and the MapLines setting are gone.
0.2.7
Map: a trail is one smooth line along its middle (a spline with a soft edge and round ends) instead of a row of dots; no little hooks at forks.
0.2.6
Map: trails and roads as lines instead of big squares; on the planet smaller dots (2 m). The host sends only the areas that changed, two bytes per 2 m block. All players and the server must update together.
0.2.5
With Leash 1.0.0+ nothing wears a trail inside its pens (a fence or walls round a feeder or trough).
0.2.4
Settings only in the cfg and the F1 ConfigurationManager window (in order, English and Russian descriptions); nothing in the game's settings menu.
0.2.3
Creatures.TamedWear and Creatures.WildWear, both off by default: penned animals no longer trample the pen. A ridden mount is faster on roads either way.
0.2.2
Public Trails.Api.CartFactor(Vagon) (0.7-1) for other mods: Leash's harnessed cart is lighter on ruts and roads.
0.2.1
Trails and roads on the PlanetPrototype planet's map through PlanetMap3D 0.12.0+.
0.2.0
Cart ruts; a cart is lighter on ruts and roads.
Soil by biome: packed snow in the mountains, sand and ash keep trails longer.
Mud in the rain.
Roads: Gravel road for the hoe, the game's Paved road over it makes stone; faster, better stamina regeneration, lighter carts, faster mounts; roads never grow back.
Trails and roads on the map and minimap.
Crops get trampled; roadside flowers and bushes.
0.1.1
The grass thinning no longer patches Heightmap.IsCleared (PlanetPrototype's ground check is left alone).
0.1.0
First version: worn trails on a 1 m grid (flat worlds and the planet), thinning grass, four paint steps, faster running and less stamina on trails, regrowth, the world keeps the trails, the host's rules for everybody, the trails console command.
