Containers Unlock Recipes

Ever opened a chest and found a bunch of materials you've never seen before — only to realize your crafting recipes still aren't unlocked because you didn't pick the items up? This mod fixes that.

Containers Unlock Recipes automatically unlocks any crafting recipes tied to items inside a container the moment you open it. No more tedious grab-drop-grab just to register materials you already found.

How It Works

When you open any container — a chest, tomb, ship cargo hold, or any other storage — the mod scans its inventory. Any item you haven't discovered yet is silently registered as known, exactly as if you had picked it up. Your recipe list updates immediately.

That's it. No configuration, no UI, no fuss.

Installation

Thunderstore / r2modman (Recommended)

Install via r2modman or the Thunderstore app
Search for Containers Unlock Recipes and click Install
Launch Valheim through the mod manager

Install BepInExPack Valheim if you haven't already
Drop ContainersUnlockRecipes.dll into your BepInEx/plugins/ folder
Launch the game
