Blue Collar Trolls

Hire friendly, hard-working trolls to run your Viking settlement! Blue Collar Trolls introduces specialised Norse Trolwards that recruit local trolls into honest labor. Bind a troll to a ward, feed them from their dedicated larder, and let them chop trees, mine deposits, tend crops, haul items, or defend your perimeter.

A Valheim BepInEx 5 plugin built on Jotunn.

Trolwards

Trolward	Role	Behavior
Lumber Trolward	Logging	Fells trees, splits logs, and stacks timber within ward radius.
Mining Trolward	Quarrying	Breaks rocks, ore deposits, and collects mineral chunks.
Farming Trolward	Agriculture	Plants, cultivates, and harvests crops in prepared farm plots.
Sorting Trolward	Logistics	Collects loose dropped items and organizes/merges nearby storage chests.
Defense Trolward	Security	Patrols the ward radius and thrashes any hostile monsters that intrude.

Each ward includes an integrated Larder (food container). Trolls require feeding to maintain energy and reputation—keep the larder stocked with hearty food to keep your blue-collar workforce happy and productive!

Requirements

• BepInExPack Valheim
• Jotunn (2.30.x)
• Valheim 1.0.16+

Installation

1. Install via your preferred mod manager (recommended), which automatically installs BepInEx and Jotunn.
2. Manual: place BlueCollarTrolls.dll into your BepInEx\plugins\BlueCollarTrolls\ folder.

How to Use

1. Build a Trolward from the Hammer build menu (under Misc or the DFG tab if using DFGHub).
2. Open the ward's Larder and deposit food (meat, fish, berries, stew).
3. Interact with the ward to inspect worker troll status, reputation, active job assignments, and radius.
4. For farming wards, access the Farming GUI to designate crop types and plot boundaries.
