Passage Wind
Personal ship fast-travel — "TradeWind for people". Record named docks, then board your own ship, pick a destination, and sail there in a straight line. The pilot makes the ship kinematic and drives it straight through terrain and waves, so nothing can beach or block you.
A Valheim BepInEx 5 plugin.
Features
- Record docks with a hotkey; optionally drop a saved map pin for each.
- Import docks from map pins named
PW <name>. - Single-destination fast travel (not multi-waypoint routes): sit on your ship, pick a dock, sail.
- Trips only advance while at least one player is seated — if everyone unboards, the ship holds position.
Requirements
- BepInExPack Valheim (installed automatically)
Installation
- Install through your mod manager (recommended).
- Manual: drop
PassageWind.dllintoBepInEx\plugins\.
How to use
- Record docks — stand where you want a dock and press Alt+N (auto-named "Dock 1", "Dock 2", ...). With
DropMapPinson, aPW <DockName>pin is dropped on the map. Alternative: place map pins namedPW <name>anywhere, then press Alt+I to import them all as docks. - Pick a destination — press Alt+R to open the dock menu (press 1-9 to select, or click a row; the selected dock is highlighted). Alt+R closes it.
- Sail — sit on your own ship, set gear with Alt+G (Cruise/Standard/Full), then press Shift+G to start and stop the trip. Arrival is announced with a message.
- The ship travels in a straight line, clipping through terrain intentionally, and holds position if nobody is seated.
