Big herds without the frame cost. Idle tames think less often, the breeding system stops asking the same question sixty times, and animals in zones nobody has loaded heal and slowly get on with it.

Looks after your tames. The ones following you catch up on their own after a delay - through portals, out of pits. The ones you parked stop wandering into fires, lava, water, smoke and spike traps.

A feeding trough for tames. Put a stack of feed on it and animals come and eat, using the game's own feeding - so it fills hunger, keeps them breeding, and tames wild ones that wander in.
