Shows one primary food stat beside each food recipe in Valheim's crafting recipe lists. The value is the largest of health, stamina, and eitr. Red means health, yellow means stamina, and light purple means eitr. When a recipe makes an uncooked item, the mod looks up the output of a cooking station or oven and displays that finished food's primary stat.
Three small buttons below the repair hammer sort recipes by HP, STA, or EIT, highest first. Click the active button again to restore the game's original recipe order. Recipes with zero of the chosen stat appear below recipes that provide it. The buttons appear only when the current crafting list contains food.
Install
- In Thunderstore Mod Manager, select Valheim and the profile you use to launch it. Install BepInExPack Valheim in that profile if needed.
- Remove or disable any earlier Cook Book version, then open Settings → Profile → Import local mod and select
Cook_Book-1.0.3.zip. - Click Start modded, then open a station with food recipes, such as the Cauldron or Food Preparation Table.
If your manager does not offer local mod import, use Settings → Browse profile folder, create BepInEx/plugins/CookBook there, and copy CookBook.dll into that folder. Launch with Start modded.
This is a client UI mod. It does not need to be installed on the server. Direct-fire cooking stations and ovens use interaction controls rather than the crafting recipe list; the uncooked recipes made at crafting stations display their finished cooked food values when a conversion exists.
Build
The included C# project targets netstandard2.1 and references the installed Valheim 1.0 assemblies at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Valheim\valheim_Data\Managed. It was compiled against the official BepInEx 5.4.23.5 API. For further development, set its BepInEx reference path to your local BepInEx/core/BepInEx.dll.
Verification
Compiled successfully against the installed Valheim 1.0 game assembly. The crafting UI has not been tested in a running game session.
