TrophyIdols
Craft Forge of Potential Battle and Protection idols from trophies. One recipe per tier, any trophy of that tier works, gated behind forge and black forge levels. Server-authoritative config for multiplayer.Trophy Idols
Turn the trophies you collect into Forge of Potential idols. No more hoping a chest drops the right tier - hunt the creatures of a biome and craft the idols for that biome's gear.
How it works
- Every tier has two recipes: a Battle Idol (weapons, tools, shields) and a Protection Idol (armor).
- Any one trophy from that tier's list works - the recipe consumes whichever one you have. No cluttered crafting menu with a recipe per trophy.
- The result is the plain vanilla idol, identical to one found in a chest, so it works with the Forge of Potential and stacks with found idols.
- Higher tiers need a better crafting station, so progression still matters.

Boss trophies (including Elaking) are not included by default, but you can add them in the config (see below).
Multiplayer
- Install the mod on the server AND on every player. Players without it (or with a different major.minor version) will be refused on join.
- All settings are server-authoritative: whatever is in the server's config is applied to every player and updates live, no restart needed.
- Edit
peachyyy.trophyidols.cfgin the server'sBepInEx/configfolder to change anything.
Configuration
Generated on first launch as peachyyy.trophyidols.cfg in BepInEx/config. Every tier has its own section:
CraftingStation- prefab name of the station (forge,blackforge,piece_workbench,piece_artisanstation, ...)MinStationLevel- minimum level of that stationTrophies- comma-separated trophy prefab names; any one of them can be used for that tier
And a global option:
TrophiesPerIdol- how many trophies one idol costs (default 1)
Unknown trophy or station names are skipped and logged as warnings in LogOutput.log, so a typo will not break the game. You can check prefab names in-game with the console (spawn Trophy...).
Installation
Use a mod manager (r2modman / Thunderstore Mod Manager), or manually place TrophyIdols.dll in BepInEx/plugins.
Requires: BepInExPack for Valheim and Jotunn (installed automatically by mod managers).
Notes
- Some trophy names for newer biomes (Ashlands especially) may not match; check the log for "not found" warnings and adjust the config.
- If you find a bug, please report it with your
LogOutput.log.
