Dedicated Server Custom Seed

Still Working: 18-SEP-2021 for Hearth and Home update!

Added the ability to set custom seed for your dedicated servers!

Save yourself time and only create your world locally on your server. No need to transfer new world files back and forth.

Manual Installation

To install this mod, you need to have BepInEx. After installing BepInEx, extract CustomSeed.dllinto games install "\Valheim\BepInEx\plugins"

Config

Before the config file is generated, you must run the game with the mod installed. The config file is located at "\valheimserver\BepInEx\configs\ZeroBandwidth.CustomSeed.cfg"

Configuration

Change: custom_seed = 0

to:

custom_seed = FinallyThx (whatever you want | min:1 character | max:10 characters | Only: a-z A-Z 0-9)

Compare your maps with:

http://valheim-map.world/

Make sure your custom seed is 1 to 10 characters; letters and/or numbers with no SPACES
