NWS adds an in-game weather forecast for Valheim with selectable biomes, hourly and multi-day outlooks, wind predictions, and full or mini display modes.NWS — Njord Weather Service
Operation and Controls:
NWS is an in-game weather forecasting mod for Valheim. It displays predicted weather conditions, wind direction, and wind strength for selectable biomes.
Forecast Modes:
- 24 Hours: Hourly weather forecasts.
- 3 Days: Morning, afternoon, and evening forecasts.
- 5 Days: Extended morning, afternoon, and evening forecasts.
Display Modes:
- Full: Expanded forecast grid with scrolling.
- Mini: Compact, single-row display showing four forecasts at a time.
- Click FULL/MINI in the NWS header to switch modes.
Keyboard Controls:
- F8: Show or hide NWS.
- Left/Right Arrow: Page through forecasts in Mini mode.
- Up/Down Arrow: Adjust window opacity in 10% increments (10–100%).
- M: Open Valheim's map to enable mouse interaction with NWS.
Mouse Controls:
While the map is open, drag the NWS window to reposition it, select a forecast biome, change forecast tabs, or switch display modes. Close the map to resume gameplay.
Additional Information:
NWS displays the player's current biome separately from the selected forecast biome. Forecasts update automatically using Valheim's game time and weather system.
