Survival View

Part of the Scavengers Survival Series for Valheim.

Survival View gives Valheim a more grounded, body-aware first-person perspective. It is built for players who want exploration, climbing, sailing, combat, and survival to feel closer and more physical.

What it adds

• A first-person camera positioned at a natural head height.
• A visible player body when looking down.
• A smooth transition between close third-person and first-person view.
• Movement tuning designed to feel less floaty in first person.
• A practical view for solo survival, exploration, and immersive gameplay.

Controls

• Use the camera zoom control to move into or back out of Survival View.
• Check the generated config for camera and movement tuning options.

Installation

1. Install through Thunderstore/r2modman, or install BepInExPack for Valheim manually.
2. Place SurvivalView.dll in BepInEx/plugins/SurvivalView/.
3. Launch Valheim once to create the config file.

Notes

This mod is designed to work well alongside the other Scavengers survival mods, especially You're Cold, You're Injured, and You're Tired.
