Your Thirsty
Valheim never made you drink. Now it does.
Collect. Store. Purify. Drink. Or watch your Viking collapse.
A complete survival hydration system built from scratch for Valheim. Thirst drains constantly. Not all water is safe. Boil what you must and drink before your Viking pays the price.
YourThirsty Mod for Valheim

The Thirst System
Features
Drink from natural water sources
Fill containers such as waterskin, horn, and bucket from water
Store water in barrels
Boil water for safety
Debug and admin commands for testing and cleanup
Water Containers
Waterskin - Small leather pouch. Lightweight, crafted early.
Drinking Horn - Holds more water than a waterskin.
Water Bucket - Highest capacity. Essential for boiling and filling barrels.
Build Pieces
Barrel (10 Wood) - Large water storage for your base. Fill from buckets or containers.
Boiling Bucket (from cauldron) - Place on the ground to cool, then pick up for purified water.
All pieces require a workbench nearby.
Cauldron Boiling
Interact with a cauldron to start a boil. Hover text shows a live countdown. When done, collect the Boiling Water Bucket, place it with your hammer, wait for it to cool, and pick it up for clean water.
Buffs and Debuffs
Hydrated - Clean water grants bonus movement speed and stamina regen.
Dirty Water Sickness - Unsafe water causes slowdown and a screen effect. Duration scales with difficulty.
Thirsty - Empty thirst bar means movement and combat penalties until you drink.
Boiling removes all contamination risk.
