All your tamed animals in one panel, wherever they are in the world. Check on them, give them orders, carry them with you, and take them through portals.

What it does

The animal panel

• Press P to open it.
• One tab per kind of animal, each with its health, stars, mood, breeding and who tamed it.
• Where? shows the animal on the map. You can rename animals from anywhere.
• Kinds of animals only show up once someone has tamed one, so no spoilers.

Taming

• See how far along taming is, how long is left, and why it stopped (hungry, scared, or nobody nearby), without walking up and scaring the animal.
• Get a message when an animal is tamed, gets hungry while being tamed, or dies.
• A Lost tab lists tamed animals that died or disappeared.

Orders for every tamed animal

• Look at a tamed animal and press Y.
• Follow, Stay in an area, or Roam free.
• Choose how it fights: normal, aggressive, protective, or calm.
• Wolves still work with E, like in vanilla.

Carry your animals

• Pick up a tamed animal and take it anywhere: on boats, through portals, even when you die or log out.
• Put it down whenever you like.
• It adds weight to your inventory, like items do.
• Your animal is never lost or copied, even if the game crashes.

Followers

• Animals following you come through portals with you.
• A follower stuck far behind catches up with you.

Extras

• Feed a hungry animal straight from your hotbar.
• Babies stay home and keep their name when they grow up.
• Animals can breed in bigger groups.
• Optional: quiet tamed animals (no howling).

Install

Install it on every player and the server, all with the same version. See INSTALL.md in the download for Mac and dedicated servers.

Settings

Change everything in the panel's Settings tab. Your own settings (keys, messages, sounds) are yours. The world rules come from the server.

Server admins can also edit the config files in BepInEx/config, including one with a section for each animal.

Animals from other mods

Animals from other mods work automatically. Modders can fine-tune theirs with a small API, described in API.md in the download.
