Quality Life Mod

A quality-of-life mod for Valheim that expands resource management and building convenience without changing the core gameplay systems.

Features

In-Game Configuration Menu

Access and adjust all mod settings directly inside the game by pressing F1 without needing to open the configuration file manually.

Chest & Production Management

Press F4 to open the Management Menu, where you can configure chest names, chest W and D, production categories.

House-Based Chest Crafting

Crafting stations can use resources stored in chests belonging to the same house.

Resources are automatically detected from the chests assigned to that house, allowing you to craft without manually moving materials into your inventory.

House storage remains separated, so resources from other houses are not included.

House Zone System

Create and manage custom house zones using your crafting stations.

Each house can have its own independent storage area, allowing the mod to determine which chests belong to each house.

House zones are saved per world and remain available after restarting the game.

Chest

• Added Withdraw and Deposit buttons directly inside the chest inventory UI.
• Added the ability to customize chest names, roles, and production settings inside the F4 Management Menu using the Refresh button.

Builder Resource Support

While using the Hammer, you can select one of your saved house zones and use its stored resources when building.

Use:

Shift + Z

to cycle between your saved house zones.

Press:

Z

while holding the Hammer to show or hide the selected house zone.

House Zone Management

House zones can be managed directly using keyboard shortcuts.

Use:

Shift + C

to delete all saved house zones.

Use:

Shift + X

to delete the currently selected house zone.

These controls make it easier to manage and reorganize house zones without having to recreate them individually.

Independent House Storage

Each house maintains its own resource area.

A chest belonging to one house will not be used when crafting or building from another house.

This makes it possible to maintain separate storage areas for different bases.

Installation

1. Install BepInEx for Valheim.
2. Download the latest version of Quality Life Mod.
3. Extract the mod into your Valheim BepInEx plugins folder.
4. Start the game.

The mod will automatically create its configuration when launched for the first time.

Configuration

Configuration options can be customized directly in-game by pressing F1, or through the traditional BepInEx configuration files.

The mod stores its house zones separately for each world.

Compatibility

Quality Life Mod is designed to work alongside the vanilla Valheim building and crafting systems.

Mods that directly modify the same crafting, building, inventory, or resource-consumption systems may cause compatibility issues.

Multiplayer

The mod is designed for multiplayer environments.

House zones are stored locally for each player, allowing each player to maintain their own house organization.
