Ranching perks for the Vargheim server: Stockman, Winter herd, Tanned hide, Gentle hand, Herd breeder, Trail rider, Butcher, Bloodline. Needs VargheimProfessions.VargheimRanching
Ranching profession perks for the Vargheim server. Needs VargheimProfessions; does nothing on servers that don't run it.

| 25 | Stockman — creatures added by mods can only be tamed with a rancher nearby; ranchers craft saddles and saddlebags |
| 25 | Winter herd — in a Seasons winter animals do not breed unless a rancher is within 10 m; near a rancher they breed at half the normal rate |
| 35 | Tanned hide — make Tanned Hide (2 Deer Hide, 2 Leather Scraps, 2 Resin at a workbench); smiths need 1 for every modded armor piece |
| 35 | Gentle hand — tamed animals within 30 m of a rancher take 15% less damage |
| 45 | Herd breeder — animals within 10 m breed 25% faster and young grow up 25% faster |
| 60 | Trail rider — +15% speed and stamina for the mount you ride |
| 75 | Butcher — tamed animals you slaughter drop 25% more meat, leather and hides |
| 100 | Bloodline — 10% chance an animal born near you comes out one star higher |
Every animal needs a breeding partner at least 5 m away (applies to everyone).

- 1.1.3: Stockman now says so: untamed mod-added creatures show "Needs a Rancher (level 25) nearby to tame" on hover, and a message when taming is refused (it was silent).
