GrillspettItemDrawers
Personal fork of RossItemDrawers (MIT), developed mainly for personal/friends use. Wood, stone and black marble drawers that each hold a large quantity of one item and show it on the front.GrillspettItemDrawers
Fork notice. This is a personal fork of RossItemDrawers by Ross West, used under its MIT license. It is developed mainly for personal use and for a small group of friends — not maintained as a general-purpose public release. If you found this on Thunderstore looking for ongoing support, RossItemDrawers is the upstream project to use instead.
A drawer that holds a large quantity of a single item and shows that item and its count on its front face. Built from the Hammer, Furniture tab, at a Workbench.

Tiers
| Tier | Capacity | Recipe (at Workbench) |
|---|---|---|
| Item Drawer (wood) | 10,000 | 10 Wood |
| Stone Item Drawer | 20,000 | 10 Stone |
| Black Marble Item Drawer | 30,000 | 10 Black Marble |
Capacities are the defaults; a server admin can change them per tier in the config file.
Drawers are 0.66m cubes and snap to each other, so they tile into a wall.
Controls
| Input | Effect |
|---|---|
| Use item from hotbar | Assign that item to an empty drawer, or deposit a stack into a matching one |
E (Interact) |
Take one stack |
Ctrl+E |
Take one item |
Ctrl+E on an empty (zero-count) drawer |
Clear the drawer's assigned item type |
Shift+E |
Deposit every matching item in your inventory |
Ctrl+Shift+E (assigned, non-empty drawer) |
Open a slider to take a specific amount |
O (look at an unassigned drawer) |
Open a picker listing what you're carrying — pick one to assign the drawer to it, without needing a free hotbar slot |
Ctrl and Shift here are Valheim's Crouch and Run actions, so rebinding
those in Valheim's settings rebinds these too. O is bound through
this mod's own config and can be rebound there (AssignDrawerKey under
[Controls]). It only does anything for a drawer that isn't assigned yet
— once assigned, use Shift+E to add more. Each item in the picker shows
its own icon. If you have ExtraSlots installed, whatever's sitting in
its dedicated food/ammo/quick/misc slots is left alone — not listed, and
not swept up by Shift+E either.
Compatibility
Drawers are Containers, so container-aware mods can read from, withdraw
from, and deposit into them through the ordinary inventory API.
Verified in game with OttoFuel, which pulls fuel from drawers to feed fires, kilns and smelters, and NoVikingLeftBehind, which crafts using items stored in them. Deposit support (used by mods like AzuAutoStore to auto-store items into a drawer) is implemented, including depositing into a drawer another player currently owns in multiplayer — but neither has yet had its own in-game verification pass.

Thanks
To Ross West, whose RossItemDrawers this is forked from (MIT licensed) — every drawer, the Container bridge, and the multiplayer RPC protocol this fork builds on are their work.
To makail and KG, whose drawer mods were the inspiration for RossItemDrawers in turn. RossItemDrawers was a clean-room rewrite with no code or art from either, and does not read or convert drawers built with theirs; that lineage is unchanged by this fork.
