MaceThunderbrand
Lightning versions of the vanilla maces, clubs and sledges: electric damage and glow, throw and recall, a lightning leap, sky strikes, and crackling gear while you hold one.Changelog
1.0.0
First release.
- Thunderbrand versions of every vanilla mace, club and sledge, forged from the plain weapon plus Thunder Stones and Eikthyr's trophy.
- Lightning damage on top of the weapon's normal damage, and an electric glow, crack pattern and arcs fitted to each head.
- Spark trail on swings, lightning cracks and sparks on hits, enemies visibly shocked.
- Secondary attack (middle mouse): the overhead smash calls down a bolt of lightning where it lands. It wins over other mods' special attacks on the same button. The two-handed maces (sledges) use the Flametal Sledgehammer's secondary, together with a matching main attack and hold animation, so both mouse buttons play (
TwoHandedSecondaryFrom,TwoHandedMainAttack). - Throw and recall (F): the mace flies out, strikes where it first lands and flies home on command.
- Lightning leap: jump with a Thunderbrand in hand to bound high into the air, trailing arcs and sparks, and land with a strike.
- Soft, sparse electric cracks on your armor, cape, shield and skin (the gear's own colors stay visible), arcs crawling over your body and a crack of lightning when you draw, all while a Thunderbrand is held.
- Round shields share one size; shields on your back clear your cape; blocking with a shield while holding a Thunderbrand shocks close attackers a little.
- Every Thunderbrand has exactly one recipe and one name in the crafting menu; the mod checks for repeats and removes them.
- Everything is shown to other players who run the mod.
Known issues
- Some two-handed maces (sledges) do not attack properly: their left-mouse or middle-mouse attack may not play or may swing the wrong attack, mostly alongside mods that change the sledges' attacks (such as Therzie's Warfare). Options under
Secondary(TwoHandedMainAttack,TwoHandedSecondaryFrom) can help. One-handed maces are not affected.
