Plugin NoServerPassword

Host a public or crossplay Valheim server without setting a password.

Leave the password field empty in Valheim's server creation screen and start the server normally. Non-empty passwords still use the standard Valheim validation.

Important

A password-free public server can be joined by anyone who discovers or reaches it. Use this only when open access is intentional and rely on normal moderation tools to manage unwanted players.

Joining players do not need the mod. A player hosting from the in-game menu must install it because their game process acts as the server. Dedicated servers must also install it.
