Introduction

You awaken far from the Sacrificial Stones, beneath the gaze of an ancient Warden. Its light offers shelter, but beyond it, every distant figure may be an ally—or your end.

This land remembers a war older than the sagas. Odin's forgotten enemies still wander their prison, while the Wardens guard the last safe ground.

Alone or with your companions, your purpose remains unchanged: survive, defeat the Forsaken, and prove yourself worthy of Valhalla.

Gameplay Changes Compared with Vanilla

• Wardens protect you and your buildings, but PvP is enabled outside their safe zones.
• When you die, you respawn with your equipment (shields, armor, arrows, trinkets, etc.), but your valuables remain in your tombstone, at the mercy of whoever finds it first.
• Players can create groups, use a private group chat, see their companions on the map, and travel together without harming each other.
• Each new character starts near a Warden at one of 5 starting points in the Meadows.

Apart from these changes, the spirit of Valheim remains.

Open Beta

The mod is in an early beta phase and may be unstable. Please report any issues on GitHub or Discord.

Limitations

The mod is only compatible with Steam. No other mods can be used, or the server will reject you (apart from BepInExPack_Valheim) For r2modman users it is recommended put the mods in a separate Profile.
