Step into shelter with a little comfort and get the Rested bonus in seconds — no more standing around waiting out the vanilla warm-up (or losing it to cold and wet starts).
How it works
When you are sheltered and your comfort reaches the threshold (default 1), FastRested grants the Rested effect right away through the vanilla pipeline: comfort still ticks normally, duration still scales with comfort level. Nothing else changes — same bonus, just no waiting.
- Configurable check interval, comfort threshold and on/off switch.
- Client-side friendly: works wherever you are sheltered.
Installation
- Install BepInExPack_Valheim and Jötunn.
- Close Valheim completely.
- Extract this ZIP into your Valheim game folder. The DLL should end up at
BepInEx/plugins/FastRested/FastRested.dll. - Launch Valheim — stand under a roof with any comfort and watch Rested pop.
To uninstall, close the game and remove the FastRested plugin folder.

Compatibility and notes
- Targets Windows PC and current Valheim + Jötunn 2.30.x.
- Config lives in
BepInEx/config/com.valheimmods100.fastrested.cfg(enable, check interval, minimum comfort).
