Update for Valheim 1.0.7
This release updates game API calls used by Second Life and wing notifications. It fixes a missing-method exception that could interrupt player death processing.
A built-in compatibility bridge restores Jotunn 2.29.2's building-category updates and console-command registration on the new game API. The bridge is scoped to Jotunn 2.29.2 and the changed piece-table layout; it is inactive on other Jotunn versions. No modified Jotunn DLL is required.
Requirements and installation
- Valheim 1.0.7.
- BepInExPack Valheim 5.4.2350.
- Jotunn 2.29.2.
- JsonDotNET 13.0.3.
Use a Thunderstore-compatible mod manager to install the package and its
dependencies. For a manual installation, close the game and place
DW.CharacterProgression.dll in BepInEx/plugins/LevelingSystem_SharingXP/
after installing the dependencies.
Keep one copy of the mod DLL. Replace the previous LevelingSystem_SharingXP DLL instead of keeping both copies. Existing progression and configuration formats are unchanged.
For multiplayer, install the same mod version on the server and every client. A full multiplayer session with multiple connected clients has not been validated for this release.
Compatibility notes
The rarely reported animal-invulnerability issue was not reproduced, so this release does not claim to fix every possible cause of that symptom. Other mods may need their own Valheim 1.0.7 updates.
