Keep your anchored ship where you parked it.
This addon saves an anchored ValheimRAFT ship's position and rotation, then holds that pose while it is anchored. Returning to an unloaded zone should no longer let water forces push or turn the parked ship into your dock.
How it works
- Remembers the parked pose in the ship's saved network data.
- Preserves the saved anchor state while the ship's pieces load.
- Prevents movement and rotation while anchored, including wave bobbing.
- Clears the parked pose when you raise the anchor. Sailing resumes through ValheimRAFT's normal movement code.
- Suspends the hold during hauling, creative mode and vehicle teleporting, then records the new position when the ship is anchored again.
- Leaves land vehicles and vehicles attached to a parent vehicle under ValheimRAFT's control.
Existing anchored ships are adopted at their currently saved position. The addon cannot recover a position lost before it was installed. It does not automatically park a ship whose anchor is raised.
Installation
Install ValheimRAFT 5.0.7 and this addon on every player client and the server. Use matching versions. For a local game, install both in your client profile.
For manual installation, extract the ZIP into the profile folder so ValheimRAFTAnchorFix.dll is under BepInEx/plugins/ValheimRAFTAnchorFix/.
Supports the standard ValheimRAFT 5.0.7 build. The addon stays inactive on other builds. Updating RAFT may require an addon update.
Behavior
Anchored ships are held completely still; they do not bob or rotate with waves. Raise the anchor before deliberately moving the ship. ValheimRAFT's optional release-on-speed-change setting is supported.
Raise the anchor before removing the addon to clear its parked pose. Removing the addon returns movement control to ValheimRAFT.
